Really? My theology teacher (Actually, he's my Latin teacher, but he teaches theology too) just says that he'll be the exact opposite of Jesus. What chapter/verse does it say he'll be european in?
Nobody knows who the antichrist will be, and no one knows when the End times will begin. Personally, I think that we are already about 6 inches in the grave. Many things outlined in the book of Revelation are happening today. Chaos, attacks in the Israelis, the list goes on. Read Revelations. It can tell you more than I can. Oh, and watch out for the mark of the beast. It will be something on the hand or the forehead.
The mark of the beast will be something in either the hand or the forehead. MANY people will get it. The anti- christ will promote it. Many christians believe it is those micro ships that you can get in your hand or your forehead that have medical info and whatnot. My best suggestion is to be extremely careful of what you do. The number probably has nothing to do with the mark, but I don't really know. And thank you.
The rapture doesn't need to come, the human race is destroying itself quite sufficiently the way it's going. The Egyptians predicted the end of the world in roughly 3000. But practical scientists say the world ends when the sun does and that's not for a while either.
Scientists know. They know that the rapture is just a fairy tale...the Earth will end in a few billion years if humanity decides not to nuke eachother...
@kirby: was that post directed at frank, yakooza, or both of them? ----------- Point is, the Bible could be wrong. There is a good chance that it is. And a lot of the people in this thread have been really close-minded. . .because we won't know until it happens.
@Paint: Nope. We don't know at all how the world will end. Stop being so close-minded. I accept that the Rapture may be true, but that it may not be true.
From what people say, apparently the world is going to end December 21st 2012. But of course, they said the world was going to end in 2000, and it didn't. So only God knows when it will happen.
