dude no its not system is not metal its rock most of the time and sometimes its hard rock but its never metal . At most there NEW WAVE ROCK but there not metal. Even Daron Malakian said in a interview that they werent really metal that they were rock but that they were "different." Nightwish - is a must hear, but only "Wishmaster", "Oceanborn" and "Century child" albums. Their first was weak, and in the last they've replaced magnificent vocalist Tarja Turunen with some wannabe-pop-singer, that ruined the band.

Nightwish's genre is (was) a power metal with strong opera voice.

Tarja Turunen's solo album "Winterstorm" is also good.

P.S. I also like bands "Story Of The Year", "Zeromancer" and "Farmer Boys", but they're not exactly metal.

I've just come to say 90% of you people are f*cking idiots when it comes to metal. Bands like Disturbed, Nirvana, NICKELBACK, Evanescence, Drowning Pool, Seether, Static-X, and Godsmack are NOT metal. And also, it's not "trash" metal, it's THRASH.
