Well, you guys said the homepage was the easiest but I still have to disagree. It takes forever. That's why I usually just open the forums in another tab when I log on then I delete the homepage tab.
This is actually faster than before, and everyone is still complaining about it. Remember the feature that showed when the user was last active? That CHEWED UP the server to bits and made everything slower than a glue slug. This is MUCH BETTER than that time. If it slows down my client, then I know that the site is chugging, and it hasn't so far. Back then, it did. Everything is smooth sailing for mostly everyone here.

AG does not always run slowly. It is currently being optimized so that this doesn't happen. You just have to be patient for it.
Another reason that some people may be experiencing lag is because of the time of day. When a lot of people are online, it is going to put more stress on the servers and slow things down a bit. When there aren't many people on, it will run more smoothly.
Well everyone. If you have a website with thousands of people and they try to upgrade it then of course it's hard and plus if you try to make a website like this. It would take a long time. But I am estimating everything should be better by friday.
All of the games have been switched over to a new server, and the community is done being optimized. So everything should now be running pretty fast (as of last night). It is running beautifully for me now. Are people still experiencing lag? And if you are, what area of the site are you experiencing it on?
