OOps I got mixed up they don't now. They still thought the "Son of God" would be a conquerer so they thought he was a false profit.
Prophet, but close enough. The Jews only read the old testament, and They did think Jesus was the false profit because many of them thought that he would be glamorous.
Bah! It doesn't matter whether we were created or evolved, we are too overpopulated for this planet. Since Jesus supposedly healed the sick and saved lives, thus aiding the current population crisis, he gets no respect from me.
Jesus Christ, is the central figure of Christianity, and within most denominations he is venerated as the Son of God and as God incarnate. Christians also view him as the Messiah foretold in the Old Testament; Judaism rejects this claim. Islam considers Jesus a prophet, while several other religions revere him in some way.
I think you should of said "Who is Jesus?" not "What is Jesus?" because Jesus was a person, not a thing. He is actually one of the Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Son should not be confused with the Father and the Holy Spirit, because the Son is not the Father and the Holy Spirit and vice versa. The Son is God, the Father is God and the Holy Spirit is God.
