Is there something missing in your life that you find the internet could fill? Do you find that there are essential things that are relatively simple that you wish there was just a website for it? I can think of a few I wish existed, and not only exist but weren't confusing and looked nice. For example, I wish I could have a nice site to bookmark things, like websites, but also keep info I might want when I am not home that I could log into, like names/phone #/addresses and such. So I could have a wealth of information on there, ready for me wherever.
Now I made this for the reason that, if people say what they want, maybe someone will know of such a site and can just tell the user on this thread. This could end up benefiting a lot of people. Who knows, maybe someone knows the site I am looking for if it exists.
So help others out at finding cool sites they want, and ask for your personal own. And don't worry if your idea sounds way to complicated or too simple, say anything because the internet is a large place and you'd be surprised!
Well, seriously, that phonebook idea is nifty but I ultimately think it's seriously dangerous...if that'd be the premise you'd have identity hackers rocking up at your doorstep and hijacking your site in a matter of seconds.

A site I would like would allow me to play a creative mix-and-match to work on ideas when I want to kill time but...that's a bit esoteric. Would beat playing with Mary-Sue quizzes though. And if you're looking for that exclusive log in and sign up, well, I dunno, that might be a bit harder to work in with that idea.

On topic; Internet is for pretty much everything. True, I'd say about 90% of all sites are porn sites. But I don't have an internet connection at home right now (for about 1-2 months) and it makes you realise just how much you need it these days. Entertainment? Check. Study? Check. Payments? Check. Pretty much anything uses internet... even to the point where to keep track of my ordered connection you had to -yes indeed- check online.
