I have Sea Monkeys (brine shrimp that are genetically modified for home-growth) and they are great! My colony is growing really well and I'm up to my 2nd generation. The females are all pregnant and they are really fast. I'm thinking of buying thinks to put in their mini tank so their lives are a little more interesting. The first Sea Monkeys I ever had died because my arm was knocked when I was feeding them and all the food went into their tank and suffocated them

They're so cool. There are lots of accessories to use with your Sea Monkeys and I found one that is really fascinating...

Sea Monkey Diamonds. They are little crystals that you can buy and when you pour them into your tank, your Sea Monkeys interact with them! They pick them up and push them along and even ride them with the current. Some Sea Monkeys have been known to build caves out of them. Another amazing thing about Sea Monkey Diamons is that when the water level drops, the crystals get higher. They defy gravity and suspend in the middle of the tank while Sea Monkeys swim about them.

I'll have to buy those!!!

No. It's just a term like Seahorses are not part horse. Neither are Sealions and so on.

Sea Monkeys do heaps of things. They swim around and they follow light so if you move a torch at the top of the tank in a circle then they will swim with the light and make their own whirlpool!

I had sea monkeys, but i over fed them with all the bananas

Ok i didnt really have them, but i remember friends having them when i was younger. Plus we had some in my psychology class and there was 1 giant one, and all the others were really little (i think he must have been eating all the food)
Perhaps i shall go to the shops and buy some and grow a sea monkey army to take over the world... Mwahahahaha!!!!!!
