No, I didn't got dumped or something but theres a slighty painfull feeling in my heart. It doesn't hurt that much, but should I be concerned? ~~Reaperette~~
at first, I thought this thread was about a romantic loss but no, I get those sometimes, it's not a big deal unless it starts hurting very bad, or something feels not painful, but out-of-place or just weird, you might want to get it checked it out.
is it your heart or your muscle between your heart and armpit?
i get a pain right between the two and mistake it for my heart whenever i relax for to long and start working out, it makes my worried but you know, its not your heart is just a muscle that you can pull, usually happend to your weakest muscle.
Heart is located right in the middle, not on the left as 90% of people think. So the compressing type of pain right in the middle of your chest IS the kind of pain you should worry about.
The rest is nerves or muscles. Most pains in the chest area is caused by nerves compression in your spine, so just dont sit in front of your PC too much.
The main programmer's rule: dont sit in front of the PC more than 24 hours a day xD

And a little to the left (the left lung is smaller than the right, as the heart uses some of the space) Besides, some of the symptoms of a heart attack is pains in the left side, but you are way too young for that.
I went to the doctor last year after having been kept awake the entire night from pains in my arm, and over the chest. I had just begun taking medication with "If you encounter these symptoms, go to the doctor" where chest pains were one of them. Well, the doctor was fast and precise: Get some excercise, you lazy teen... So yeah, that is my experience. But everything that worries you, should probably be checked, because if you go around with it for long, and you get more nervous, you will probably end up panicking, which will make it worse.
there's also heartburn, you know, too many acidic foods or, yes, sugar lol. i think pretty much everyone gets them from time to time, you shouldnt be worried unless it is so bad, it hurts to move, i mean really hurts, or if every heart beat throbs pain
