I think Rock Band 2 because it has great songs.

Rock band has hardly any awesome songs.

Guitar Hero: World Tour for sure. Why? In short:

- Better instruments;
- More songs;
- A song creator;
- Online Mode;
- Downloadable Content.

i hate world tour, the songs are good but the drums suck, and the guitar is no different.

rock band two you can make your owns songs, i find that sick!

I've never played either of these consoles, but from what my chaps say, they like Guitar Hero than Rock Band 2

Btw uberdead, please give some reasons to your opinion. You should try to convince TSL3 that Rb2 is better than GH4.

I liked guitar Gero better to be honest. Great songs and I think it helped that I am used to the Guitar Hero series any way. Both are good though.

Well I suppose it would help to compare the song lists for Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: World Tour.

Personally, I like the setup in Rock Band 2 more. The song list is more organized and you can transfer over any songs you have downloaded from the first Rock Band.

I have both games and I find that the weird secondary bar slider thing on the World Tour guitar controller is a bit off and almost always not worth it. The idea is good, but better luck next time it seems.

For the DLC, I find that Rock Band 2 has a much better selection, while World Tour doesn't quite have a big enough selection yet, and most of the songs are either by Metallica or Oasis, or they are random international songs that I've never heard of. Again though, just google the DLC lists for the two games if you want to compare them.

I prefer Rock Band 2 because of it's list of amazing guitar songs. Guitar Hero World Tour has some decent ones, but most seem kindly repetitious.

Rock Band 2 is way better, playing as a band is better then just some guitars

Guitar Hero: World Tour is a much better choice.

It's just better overall, whether it's songs or gameplay.
The multi-player is awesome on GH:WT and one of the really sick things about Guitar Hero is that you can go to their site and track your statistics. Very cool.
