I haven't played the newest Need for Speed,but what I enjoy most about the series are the cop chases,customizing your car,and free roaming(you can imagine what I was like when I got Pro Street and found out they cut out free roaming in its entirety for that game)but yeah my favorite is probably still Most Wanted,because it was challenging,fun,and had some interesting things in it that you could do,pertaining to cop chases,and races in general.Carbon was just annoying,because all of the races in it were easy,except for the Boss races,which were the exact opposite,and were just irritable to do.Underground 2 is my second place choice as it had some nice elements in it that made it a really nice game,such as the random street races you could do for money.If that game had some more ability for detailed customization in it,and a better city,like the one in Most Wanted(in other words if you combined the customization options from both,and took the graphics and city of Most Wanted with its story) then that would probably be the best of them,but I have yet to try Undercover yet,since I am still bitter from Pro Street and Carbon.
To be honest crimsonblade55 I thought underground 2 had the best map. I could actually find my wau round it and new where I was gooing on all the others I have had (carbon/undercover) The maps were either too large (undercover) or kinda pathetic and unralistic (carbon). Underground 2 was just the right size and had some great corners though the shortcuts were sommetimes a bit pathetic lol.
accually guys i dissagree with u all . For me the best nfs was most wanted 1)it had good graphics 2)it had realistic speed limits unlike carbon 3)it had the best story line 4)shortcuts varied (long/short ,hard to find/easy to find) 5)it had nice and new cars to buy (at that time) 6)and had a quite easy map to remember
