Well they are still not sepposed to have it but kids these days are so smart that they just say that thwy are 13 sadly i had to meat a kid that was 8 years old and was on this site i didn't oin till i was 13 why do they join i don't know.
I can answer one of them. If a mod does not like a topic, but there is no reason to lock the topic in question, he/she will ignore it, and probably wait until the users mess up, and there is a reason to lock the topic. Reason to lock would be spam, broken rules and flaming. Pointlessness and topics easy to answer (usually by saying yes/no, or just simple answers).
As for the 12-year thing, well, I know some users are younger than the 13 years. I also know some have asked for permission by asking Carlie, but as the site is pg13, well, being younger and a user is frown upon.

Well AG feels that being 13 years old will mean that the audience it is allowing to view has a certain level of maturity and can be held responsible for their actions.
Also, for your second question, a moderator will use his/her own judgement when choosing on whether or not to lock a thread.
Then you have your parents permission to be on here. As long as you act maturely, that leaves us with no reason to kick you out. The reason you have to be 13 to have an account, is because there may be content on the site that is unfit for people below thirteen years of age to be exposed to.
And if a nod just doesn't like a thread because its not his taste,but other peoples taste...can he just lock it?
In theory yes, but no. We're not allowed to go on that sort of powertrip. As long as the thread is legit, we're not supposed to lock it. Of course, what one mod sees on the right side of the edge of lockable might be on the wrong side for another.
