If you mean like an IM,or chat room of some sort,then no.We used to have one(before I joined apparently) but people abused it so it was removed.If you want to chat with friends on this site there is posting things on there comments(which I would not use for prolonged conversations) or the Unofficial chat,which has been used before.There is also a few other chat rooms and unofficial forums for chatting,but nothing official within the site that could truly be used for chatting with friends as of right now.
We don't currently have an "official" chat room, because of behavioral reasons, but the "UNofficial" chat room, created by Klaushouse, just click this link for signing on. Be it a miracle that someone else might be on besides you, though.
The only way to communicate with other fellow AG users is to go to their profile and leave them a message. Or if that doesn't suit you, then you could just start a forum thread, and start up a conversation that way.
