Well, it has unofficially announced for at least a couple of weeks now, and I thought it would be fun to talk about it. Apparently it will take place during the 15th century.
it was revealed the story would incorporate a family feud and disguises would play a part in the game.
The focus testers were asked to decide on their favorite of three character designs. Each image had different colored costumes and varying numbers of pouches or bags for the main character, though the overall design was the same: Similar to Altair's, but more colorful and fitting for the time period. Under each image was the word "ezio," an Italian name derived from the word for "eagle." Fitting, for the series.
Although I'm not entirely how this will have much of any tie-in to the first one, it seems like it will still be cool. I'll admit I was looking forward to possibly having that future-Altair guy be the main playable character and running around on future rooftops, but like I said this could still be fun too.
First of all, Altair is a translation to Eagle in some way. also, if you look at Altair's hood, it has sort of a beak at the end. This also relates to the eagle screech when you do a leap of faith into a hay stack. Thats all i could really relate that to Assassin's Creed.
I hope that the second Assassin's creed is not as repetitive as the first, but i still liked the game.
i thought part two already came out. i think it did, in fact im kinda really 99% sure on that.
Then you might want to lean more on that 1%. There have been....I suppose you could call them expansions....on the PSP if I remember correctly, but no Assassin's Creed 2.
If it ends up being even half as good as the first one then I'll be happy when it comes out. I'm just hoping using disguises and stuff wont mean taking away the free running. Climbing and costumes seem to go off on two separate branches in the whole stealth thing.
