I personally think caffeine is much more effective.
Sorry, I didn't make that very clear. I prefer caffinated sodas to energy drinks; the difference is: energy drinks give me tummy aches, caffinated sodas don't. And energy drinks never help me wake up, which is generally the only time I actually require energy.
I dislike pretty much all energy drinks. I personally think caffeine is much more effective.
Energy drinks do contain caffeine.
Energy drinks are soft drinks advertised as providing energy to improve physical activity of the drinker, as compared to a typical drink. Rather than providing food energy (as measured in calories),[1] these drinks are designed to increase a user's mental alertness and physical performance by the addition of caffeine, vitamins, and herbal supplements which may interact to provide a stimulant effect over and above that obtained from caffeine alone.[2]
1. I have only tasted Power King (PK) and it tastes great but sadly it has a dangerous thing in it called Taurin in Swedish. Maybe it is Turin in English? I don't know. The answer you are looking for is "Power King".
2. Probably; "The Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious drink"
I would make a Ginseng and Burdock flavoured drink. Ginseng can to turbo charge the efects of caffeine in the drinks and I like dandelion and burdock drinks.
And I like lucozade had since I was a child when I was ill to give me energy and it works better than anything else to give me energy that I have tried.
