Following some debating between Ninjas and pirates, I've added a new contestant to the debate. Do you like samurais better, ninjas better, or pirates better? Remember that they are mostly disbanded and gone now, but let's say if you were to join one of the classes, which would you join?
Pirates - Uh, probably never Ninja - Very cunning, stealthy and proud. Love to be one of those. Samurai - They look awesome! Wouldn't mind being this one either.
pirate might have the upper hand should they have a gun and aren't too drunk to shoot it straight, as a bullet's speed is probably faster than any ninja or samurai who happen to be in the way. This would technically be cheating, but that is 'the pirate way' =P
Pirates aren't cheaters. You're thinking of buccaneers and privateers. Those were the real monsters. Pirates actually had a book of laws that existed in real life, and most laws I believe, were punishable to a very high degree. Oh, and a pirate's pistol could usually only fire once before having to reload, and these guns not being modern, they didn't have time to reload during a fight. But of course, a pirate usually brought more than one
Pirates were not drunkards. Rum wasn't something abundant out on the high seas, so it was usually used, as well as food, for motivating a crew. If there was no rum, the crew would not work, which in turn would lead to punishment by the captain. This led to mutiny, and so on.
It's a very hard decision for between samurai and ninja. I would most likely pick ninja though because I would never be able to hold myself to the standards that are set for the samurai. I've done lots of reading on both samurai and ninja, but for me in the end,yes samurai are cool, but I would not be able to withstand the life of a samurai, and would then dishonor my family
