Following some debating between Ninjas and pirates, I've added a new contestant to the debate. Do you like samurais better, ninjas better, or pirates better? Remember that they are mostly disbanded and gone now, but let's say if you were to join one of the classes, which would you join?
Pirates - Uh, probably never Ninja - Very cunning, stealthy and proud. Love to be one of those. Samurai - They look awesome! Wouldn't mind being this one either.
Samurai because they clearly are the most epic they are real men. Ninjas use dirty tricks and pirates are just tools that raid oil platforms thinking they can ask for billions of dollars that they could somehow use while getting a bad case of scurvy
Ok, Samurai and ninjas: Assuming the ninja doesn't kill the samurai in his sleep and both parties are ready for battle (though they may not be immediately aware of their opponent.) the samurai wins handily in a contest of either blade or bow. (See 'Who would win in a fight?' rules as outlined by Xzeno the Great.)
Pirates may or may not have pistols. If they do, they win hands-down. If they don't, a thug with a sword will always be defeated by a real martial artist.
But samurai? Why not... say... Death-Bots. We should strive to include Death-Bots in this Pirates vs. Ninjas disaster that plagues the internet.
Pirates: Why not sounds like fun lots of money involved. But I don't like the pirates would win because they have guns excuse as you gotta remember back in those days gun's shot one time and then you reloaded they didn't have automatics or semi-automatics.
Ninja: Hell Yes! they kick ass, tons of high profile targets and the best part black mail on anybody and everybody, also they're still around today, anyone heard about the NSA, CIA, Mossad, Naikaku JÅhÅ ChÅsashitsu.
The first two are U.S. Intelligence, Mossad is Israeli intelligence and Naikaku JÅhÅ ChÅsashitsu is Japans premiere intelligence agency.
Samurai- Just NO, way to much honor and lordship is mixed in there with that. I respect them and their code of honor but its a little overboard for me. I prefer they "Just get the job done!" aspect.
Actually, ninjas were Japanese. They were viewed back then as very unhonorable because they didn't fight face to face. Ninjitsu(not your Naruto kind mind you) was their taught style, along with judo(which samurais also were taught). How do you thinks daimos were killed, and why they built houses with squeaky floors on purpose?
Ninjas they were trianed to not alert the enemy of their presence they could probably have the same skills as samurai and even dress the same it makes sense. Pirates would pretty much fail since they rely on heavy weaponry and the fact they are on sea to fight. Ninja's didnt use long range weapons? they probably used bow and arrow quite alot since they would faced with sniper like situations.
