Okay now to lessen it why no it has to be checked by some moderators too see if it is worthwhile or not. And obviously to make sure to have double posts of thread like 2 vs. threads of PS3 and 360.
This is rather...terrible. Some times, though it dosn't happen often entire days go by without a mod showing up. It would be very hard for a mod to check to see if on allready existed, and check if it was worthy of posting.
And often times a spam thread is not by the topic, it happens from what people post in it.

think of the sonny thread "what happens to the tape?" now it's all about what future update and games in teh sonny series will bring, completeley off topic but still not locked.
It seems really bad to me. If people are making double threads people will usually tell a mod about so that they can deal with it. So no mods can look at them all, but there are nice people on this site that will tell mods.
Maybe there should be designated forum mods? If the site doesn't want any more mods right now maybe program a search bar(I know nothing about programming, etc. so don't make fun of me!) only available to moderators to search through topics easier? I personally despise every "rate the _ above you" topic in the forums. Especially because that makes up half of the threads in the popular media forum. I find essentially to be a "forum game" with APs given.
What about all of the Zombie Threads in the Forum Games Section? What about all of the Gemcraft Thread in the Flash Games Section? What about all of the threads involving Sonny 2 in the Sonny 2 Section?
