But this is South Africa. They have very different problems. They still have poverty to a degree but not like some other african countries. South Africa has much more gang violence and crime (not related to survival).

I have visited South Africa 3 times and have seen the shanty towns. There are tons of them and they are massive. Don't underestimate the extreme level of poverty that exists there, just because some of the cities are ok.

Wow that is messed up. And what if you have those losers in Africa who just wanna get laid? They will be screaming "Lesbo, Lesbo!" even if a girl is straight just to get some action. Ah, that just makes me sick. >:[

Seriously though, some really f'ed up crap goes on in Africa. My friend Jack went to Africa. And Jack's friend was telling him how he was going home from school one day and a lion f'ed him in the butt! Dude I said that sucks and practically got sick! I feel bad for that African Kid. :[

Isn't the South African President wanted by UN for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and rape? I know an African president is, and I believe it's the South African president.

If it is, it shows that he doesn't care about the government, meaning his people won't get any better. That is why these lesbians have come under attack to corrective rape.

Uh, I'm not sure how that relates to a discussion on the human behavior in South Africa.

Taken out of context, people would think I was morally bereft for bursting into a fit of giggles on a thread about "corrective rape".

Anyway...back on topic >_>

Nelson Mandela?

Don't forget his advisors Ghandi and Mother Theresa. Murdering psychopaths the lot of 'em.

Ahem, Indeed. Despite South Africa's image as being one of the 'better' African nations, from the parts I have seen, there is an extremely unegalitarian spread of wealth. White people living in the cities with massive houses all with swimming pools (and armed security gaurds of course), and most of the black population living in shanty towns with no education/health care. Events like this, I am sure, are a frequent occurence.

trying t make them like men again is fine, but the fact remains, rape can drive people to suicide and makes them hate men even more. Even if they are lesbos whom i dont give a damn about, rape is a bit extreme

I don't like Lesbos, but rape is just wrong. you can't force anybody to do that.

No it isn't. That's absurd. It's just how they're living their life, and there's nothing wrong with that.

"Corrective rape" is the worst method of trying to "cure" Homosexuality. Though I have a disliking of gay people, if they want to be gay they can be gay. I think we should not try to cure them.

"Cure" itself is a derogatory term in this context. It's implying that there is something wrong with homosexuals, and I see absolutely nothing wrong with something that is natural.
