In my opinion Erin Hunter, Kathryn Lasky, Darren Shan, and Eoin Colfer are some great authors

This is tough...
Since, The Lord of The Rings trilogy and the Hobbit are my favorite books, I have to give it to J.R.R. Tolkein even if his follow-ups on the trilogy (the two histories and the other one) are unbearably boring.
Actually! I'll make it a tie. R.C. Sproul has such an incredible mind, and really did change my life via "The Essential Truths of the Christian Faith". So...

i only like a few books and even though im 13(turning 14) i still like reading the just! series which are made up of just stupid,just shocking,just crazy,just disgusting,just annoying and just tricking so i would have to say andy griffiths would be my favourite author and terry denton is a great cartoonist but yeah i dont mind scott monk either as an author
