I agree with crimsonblade MMORPG's would be too much for AG to handle since the mod can't watch over the forums for spammers and also watch over the MMORPG where the people would be free to spam and it would take a long time to develop an idea about the game plus it might have too many glitches making it almost unplayable which would be a waste of effort.
How do you know glitches would happen? A multiplayer game would seem a bit of a strain to the Armorgames server, as a few suggest here.
You spelled armor wrong
but it is still readable, so it doesn't matter.
What is wrong with actually writing ENGLISH?
Ah yes, that's how you spell it in Europe, particularly in England. How can I forget, seeing as I lived there once. Fish and chips....
More English examples: Mom/Mum Color/Colour and a few more I can't remember.
AN AG RPG
This would be a good addition to the site because it allows more conversing between users. Also it seems like fun to me, if you actually get to see your guy or something along those lines. Lastly if you think of it in the long run it doesn't seem too bad and like everything, it gets boring after awhile but there will still be new users who will join and begin to play.
Good explanation there. Either way, people will grow tired of it, and nobody will play on it except the odd one here and there.
This could be cool... based on AG, not so much as a part of AG
That would mean that the creation of the game would have no point other than to be uploaded. Which, does not seem to apply to the idea of this thread.
I agree with Cenere. It would be problematic, but in the end, interesting. Getting ap for quests and stuff is a no-no, though.
Yes, no AP for the game. Hackers would enjoy hacking for thousands of points and then most people on the leader board would be cheats.
also armour games could make a part where you could pay for a membership for extras
No! I go on site builders that do that, and I hate it. Mainly because you see features but you can't use them because "You have to be a paying member to do that!" and it makes me sad and angry. Armorgames is good because it's free and fun.
I agree that both an RPG and an MMORPG would be pretty hard to make with flash. Actually, an RPG would probably be pretty easy, there are quite a few out there.
You're contradicting with yourself there. And
actually, all good games take time to make on Flash, from weeks to months to a year or two.
If an RPG is already quite difficult to pull off then an MMORPG would be hell. You would need lots of money and enough manpower to even consider making an MMORPG.
We are in the Atomic Age where man power is considered slow and instead use machines, and what happens? We invent the computer and have to start all over again.
The MMORPG (I can't remember what that stands for, help me out here)
Multiplayer games really. I can't remember what it stands for wither.
MassivlyMultiplayerOnlineRolePlayingGame
Oh, that answers the problem.
Oh yes, some *pokes*
Don't catch the sarcasm here.
