Time for me to systematically destroy your fanboy dreams! Be aware that I am willing to expand on any point in this rebuttal and do not intend to flame... However, I will not censor myself on painfully obvious examples of stupidity.
runescape has an unexpected, twisted and complex storyline.
Utterly bias. Not only does Runescape operate almost entirely separate from the paaaathetic excuse for a story line (As any reputable literary review would show), but what little story that ever comes into play doesn't even take itself seriously and is often played for humor. The bold part is what makes me think you have never read a book. Any book.
it was stated that you "right click and eat a lobster and on world of warcraft you must use strategy and magic for your attacks" i disagree with this statement as there is much more to PvP in runescape. in runescape you use magic and your attacks. you heal and at least you get a reward if you win.
First of all, the complexity of a combat system is totally unrelated to the prevalence of Player verses Player combat. Second of all, with the exclusion of rare and expensive weapons and items, the only control you have on combat after clicking a target it passive prayer moves (Which require an even greater time sink to make viable), and magic with consumes cumbersome and expensive (for anyone attempting to -start- as a mage) runes that has little or no effect untill higher levels. And third of all, WoW has more varied, abundant, and quality PvP (With valuable and unique rewards in far more flavors than Runescape, excluding the ability to steal from others if that is even still in the game after the market switch...). This is fact, and I invite you to attempt to prove me wrong (I could always use more cannon fodder).
world of warcraft encourages people to make many accounts as they all have different abilities.
One account can has over 50 characters in total and as many as 10 per server, more than enough for every class. There is no more incentive to own multiple acounts for WoW than there is for Runescape, and arguably even less. Putting that misake out of the way, I must point out that multiple classes with unique play styles and abilities should not be considered a detriment...
f2p is really crap but to enjoy the game you need to pay attention to storylines and be a member with a mature mind. people seem to jump to conclusions e.g. the graphics are bad so the whole game is bad.
I c wut u did thar. ...And though it doesn't break the game, the graphics are bad.
I'm bored enough to add this in... A list of combat options to the best of my knowledge for both games.
(RS/WoW): Auto-attack, Support spells, consumable healing, weapon-specific abilities, High-level advantage
(WoW only): Vehicular combat, Reagent-Free spells (By Default), Stealth, Environmental damage, Knockback effects, Channeled spells, Cast-time spells, mind control, combat pets, Targeted/Area of Effect/Team/Over time Healing spells and effects, Crowd Control, Snares/immobilize effects, the ability to kite, an aggro management system and various spells tied to it, class/specialization specific spells and abilities, Fear/terror effects, teleportation, Sustainable energy resource system (Mana/Energy/Rage/Runes & Runic Power), and the ability to fight while moving.
This probably isn't everything, but its about as much as I can think to add on the spot. Forgive me if I missed something.
(RS only): Feel free to add in something I've forgotten/has been recently added.
there is no compitition WOW completly destroys runescape. all runescape is is click, attack, kill, pick up item, get killed by super chicken WOW (although you have to pay and you need a good computer) is far better because there are skills, diffrent attacks and best of all, flying mounts.
when nerds go around with there 120 level knight saying ''I'm the best oh yh, I pwn you!'' When there just some 8 year old kids that spend they're whole time on Runescape wasting they're life away.

obviously u have only done f2p quests which have a crap storyline. many members quests have crap storylines too but many secrets are uncovered. in fact i cannot wait till the next while guthix sleeps quest comes out. everything that occurs in that quest was unexpected to me but i wont tell u what happens. and on the fact that i have never read a book well then... wtf man. i have read the following and more: Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, Contest, The Temple, Area 7, Scarecrow, 7 wonders, the bounty hunt one... all of Matthew Riely's books, all the Harry Potter books, hundreds of random books that are not in series, i dunno cant remember all the books ive read.
In WoW what is the point of PvP other than glory? there is no risk on your behlf other than spending a few gold on repairing your stuff when you die. also magic is easy to train on Runescape as any player would know. in runescape using the correct order of spells can win you the fight. obviously you have never heard of the spell vengeance which inflicts massive pain upon your enemy. no... you wouldnt of heard of that because you have never really done anything much on runescape. when the person said you must make many accounts on WoW they meant you need many characters. this is true to take full advantage of the skills in world of warcraft and to be every class and race. personally i would stick to one character and train him the best i could. that is for every game. there is way wore incentive to own multiple accounts in WoW. what happens when you reach lvl 80, max your professions and get the best items? you make a new account of course. it is hard to max all your skills in runescape and rank can constantly be gained. there is always something to train in runescape.
i admit i have met many immature runescape players and they ruin the game for everyone. cant wait till jagex brings out mature player only worlds...
and on your little thing on how all this is totally bias look at your own arguments at least. when i say mature minds i mean a mind with a good imagination.
[quote][quote][quote]No offence and i used to play wow but they are both kinda stupid and pointless because at the end of the lvl for both you get good and it gets boring.

i must say... arent all games pointless? no games benifit anyone so why even bother saying that...
