I know, there were many references and ties, it was interesting.
The cinematography was indeed amazing, i also liked the politics of it. It is a society were the rules is not elected, yet everything seemed to revolve around the people. it was interesting.
I also liked the whole kingdom in modern times thing, it was neat to see to kingdoms fighting with guns and tanks, it took a while to get used to.
Haha, yeah. I was so surprised when the butterflies landed on his head at the end. And then I thought, "Wait...Doesn't David take over as King after being deceived by the current ruler in the Bible?"
We basically know how the story goes, but it'll be interesting to see the different twists the show pulls off. I especially can't wait to see how the King's son ties into everything.
The butterflies part was really cool, but the King looked absolutely pissed.

At the very end when they were in the car all i could think was "David is going to die".
They are going to assassinate him and the King, then that jerk will become King. But then again, David is to much of a prominent character to be killed.
Yeah. It took me a while to realize why the King would be pissed about the butterflies, and then I remembered his chat with the Reverend right before that happened and was like "OHHHHH. SHIT GON' GO DOWN"
