Wintersun are not speed metal.

1. Progressive Metal=10/10 (Stream Of Consciousness by Dream Theater)
2. Heavy Metal=6/10 (Phantom of the Opera by Iron Maiden
3. Melodeath=7/10 (...any song by Amon Amarth)
4. Thrash Metal=5/10 (none)
5. Speed Metal=1/10 (none)

but beyond the dark sun by wintersun is speed metal

porcupine tree>blackest eyes is also one of my favourite progressive metal songs

you put to many labels for metal

thrash = speed metal...

anyways I prefer bands like Megadeth/Slayer thrash years to heavy metal bands like Motorhead/BlackSabbath

dont listen that much to metal but i really like progressive metal: Dream Theater, Opeth and Cynic
