Doesn't it have to do more the number of plays than the rating?

well it has over 4 million plays to and 5000 favorites

well ya i would like to see a new game up there instead of the tower defene game that is there i hate that game =)

Age of War used to be on there for a long time. It got taken off probably because they want newer games there. Age of War 2 will come out and probably take a spot in the popular games section.

The games aren't automatically put up there. They are actually chosen. Which is why you will not necessarily find the game with the most plays or highest rank.
