I'm not a total master at this game who who has like the top five scores on the highscores, but I'm good enough to share some helpful tips with those who are having trouble.

First off, the first time you play or if your trying to get highscores you should try all the weapons and see which ones work best. While some weapons are better than others, sometimes a personal opinion can be the over ruling factor. What I mean by this is that you should choose the weapons that you like and feel right to you. While there really are no good or bad weapons, here is the general overview of Thing Thing Arena 3's weapons. The weapons of not only this game, but of all the games can be divided into different sub categories. The first (and weakest) sub category of weapons is the pistols. The pistols have a lot of ammo, making them a trusty sidearm. However, they have a slow rate of fire and do not do very much damage, so swap it for a new weapon when you get the chance. The next category is the sub machine guns. The sub machine guns have a great rate of fire but lack accuracy and damage. However, they are a good weapon to have if nothing else is available. The third category is the standard and regular machine guns. These don't have quite as high of a rate of fire as the sub machine guns but have better accuracy and do more damage. Next is the shotguns. They are powerful, but are offset by their slow reloads, slow rate of fire, and inability to carry lots of ammo at a time. The last category is the heavy weapons. You should always, if possible, have one of these all the time. Great damage, most of them have fair rates of fire considering how powerful they are, and they can hold a considerable amount of ammo. For weapons I reccommend having a heavy weapon and a sub machine gun or regular machine gun. Any of the machine guns will do, and for the heavy weapons you should have the gun that looks like a rifle but shoots a powerful lazer instead. This can kill enemies in two hits, carries up to 60 shots, and can damage an enemy through another enemy. The last weapon sub category only contains one weapon, because it is unique from all of the other weapons. This weapon is the harpoon gun, a semi automatic rifle that can shoot harpoons relatively quickly at oncoming enemies. While it doesn't pack much of a punch, it only takes a few harpoons to down an enemy, and carries lots of ammo. I found myself using it a lot for the last two reasons.

The following is a few helpful tips I discovered. The first one is that if you have a weapon that's out of ammo or you simply don't want, press space bar when an enemy is in close proximity. You will automatically chuck the weapon at the enemy, stunning them and simultaneously inflicting a small amount of damage. While this is one of the more obvious tricks this can ultimately help you conserve and save precious ammo for when it is really needed. Also, don't feel afraid to switch to your lead pipe! I think it has been upgraded and now does more damage, plus it has infinite ammo and can't be discarded or lost. Sometimes, it works if you chuck an empty gun at an enemy and then bash their brains out with the lead pipe, and you don't have to use a single bullet! Another tip is that if you are low on health or ammo, you should always know where it can be found. My strategy is to find a place where there is health and ammo and then camp their for a while, racking up lots of kills. As soon as I'm low on health and ammo once again I move to the next area which contains health and ammo and do the same thing. This is especially useful in conjunction with the laser gun. I also found that using the grenade launcher was great for camping out, since every time a group of enemies came to close I would just shoot a grenade, watch the area become green with toxic gas, and then watch triumphantly as my enemies melted before my eyes and lay as a heaping pile of bones. If you have any other questions or need a full list of the weapons leave a comment on my profile. Have fun!

Lazer gun + double pistols = awesomeness. The, lazer gun, or those dual-weldable machine guns. I forget what they're called, but I believe they fall into the sub machinegun category.

Also, you're tutorial would be a lot better if you organized it more, with paragraphs and whatnot.

Anyone mind if I join this?

The smaller the map the harder it is but the more carnage that can take place. Trade off, but since I like a nice small bang that takes out plenty of dudes, I usually play either arena or medium in any map, take your pick cause I dont give a stuff. Although, the maps with more ammo crates are certainly more apealing!

When it comes down to weaponary. The standard Beretta 92FS is good in more true to life gaming, but this is not one of them, naturally. So I most certainly say that its time to talk bigger... Here are some of my favourite combinations and/or situational weaponary...

TAVOR: The assault rifle which aint the Thompson. Its good for any time that is any time. All purpose mow everything and anything but to be honest, useless in the later stages of the game as the enemies get stronger!

DUAL LEVER SHOTGUN: Better than the auto shottie, because its almost auto if you leave it for about .7 of a second inbetween firings and it does more damage. But lets not forget that it is much more satisfying! Obtainable and useful at any time which is between midnight and midday.

LASER RIFLE: Good in early game, but loses power in late game. Get 100 kills with it for bonus and chuck it at someones head.

GRENADE DART LAUNCHER: May have on label "WARNING: CARNAGE MAY ENSUE" because this gun is a timed dart which goes into an enemy then blows up in their face. Fun. In late game, as long as you don have 5 guys with PANCOR's on you, fire on into the crowd, duck and boom, the lot are deeeeead.

TOXIC GUN: Forget what its called but good for covering your tracks. When the enemy passes through the gas, they either die or almost die which means wait as far away as possible with expendable ammo, then launch another toxic nade, then go back, rinse and repeat.

Thats about it for me, hope it helps, and just remember probably the best tip of the lot. If you are very low on health, perform an execution, cant be hit while you are doing that! HP regenerates, you survive, simple, easy, problem solvered!

The last weapon? Based on the game guid on CrazyMonkey, I think you have to get 100 kills for every weapon, but thats a guess!

I find that the PANCOR jackhammer with dual pistols for sidearms really is useful in a large stage. In a small stage however you probably want the green smokey gun and the laser cannon.

Yes to unlock the "artifact 19" you need to pass every weapon usage at least once, killing 100 each (including the lead pipe and dual wield), 50 if you single wield a dual-wieldable weapon, to unlock max achievement for that weapon. It doesn't need to be done in a single game, but all the weapons must be completed.

The most difficult gun to do 100 kills is the tompson machine gun and the mine launcher. Use powerful secondary weapon to company when trying them as both of them run out of ammo fast.

The "artifact 19" is extremely powerful that hit all enemies in front of you, and recharge energy over time. You cannot recharge it by other means, and it will still be recharging when it's not used. It's best used when you are in emergency situation, if your health is extremely low don't be hesitant to use it to get out of danger.

I ranked #1 all time in House Medium with twice the score compared to #2, look the scoreboard and see. Also it seems less then 10 people have ever achieved the "OVER 9000!!!", and I'm one of them.

There are only 3 weapons that can be choosen to achieve such score, the acid launcher, the grenade dart, and the laser rifle. Trust me the laser is best but ammo is quite limited. Over 500 kills, 4 enemy spawns at a time and these are the only weapons that can kill them all at once without reloading. Better yet, constantly firing acid grenades when you near the wall will make you almost untouchable if aimed right. To use the laser rifle effectively you must delay your enemies for reload time, but if you done well you are untouchable (until ammo runs out), so you have 7 rounds of rock'n'roll, push forward, and retreat for reloading. The grenade dart can be used only in arena (due to double-jump height constrains) and is extremely effective for scoring Quad-Kills.

the weapons i find myself using all the time are the jackhammer, tavor, and the gernade dart. you must all know about the achievements, right? well for those of you who do, there is a 90 point one, where you kill the guy by throwing weapons at him. its called "you know you can shoot him too" http://fc02.deviantart.com/fs12/i/2006/305/a/1/Thing_Thing_Arena_2_Ad_by_Diseased_Weasel.jpg

if you have two pistols and theres a guy shooting you. throw one pistol and it will stop his shooting for a moment then shoot him.
this works for all weapons that you can hold two of.also you can get get two pistols and reload so you have 60 ammo then throw one and you will have 60 ammo in 1 pistol this also works for the weapons you can hold two of
