Ok.... i have a 360, but my friend has a PS3. It all depends on the games. One of hte few games to EVER get on the highly exclusive 10/10 rating list on ign.com (this is a very exclusive list) is only the the PS3, Metal Gear Solid 4: guns of hte patriots.
However, the PS3 costs quite an amount...but it all depends on the contents. A PS3 comes with all the equipment you need for Online Play, all for the buying price and a bit of setup. Rumble has also turned off, which i am slightly pissed off.
The Xbox 360, however, comes in three models. The Arcade, The Pro, and The Elite. The Elite is black, and the Pro has the phrase "go pro" on the side of hte box. Arcade has...well.."XboxArcade" on the side of hte box. The Arcade, well rule that out. It comes with a small memory card (256 MB compared to the other, more immense models? psh) and sells for around 200 bucks. The Pro comes with the dual game Kung Fu Panda and LEGO Indiana Jones, a wireless controller, and a 60 GB Hard Drive, this model and the Elite Model both prevent the Red Ring of Death. Onto the Elite, a black console, a black wireless controller, with a black hard drive with an immense space on a hard drive (120 GB) and LIVE costs 50$ a year (Really good deal there) and then some (get an ethernet cable) for connection. The Elite sells for around 300$

Your information is slightly outdated. You must be using the SIXAXIS controller. I strongly recommend you use the DualShock 3 controller, it has rumble/vibration.
