Instead of just having a friends list, why can't we make a block list . When the person you blocked goes to your account, your comment board is closed and they won't see that you blocked them. Also, it will always says that you are offline to the blocked people.
The block list has been suggested about only a hundred times.
Firetail is active again! Get scared, because russianfreak is on the run for 1st place. But by now, it may not be important to you anymore.
Yish, this has been asked a few times since my arrival, and it has always been denied, but that doesn't mean people have given up asking.
May I ask why you chose to make them unknown to you blocking them?
Every little thing counts. It may be so that they can't tell their friends to bother him for you. And how about they can't see your About anymore? Because then they really are sucking the sour grape.
Yeah, if your profile is closed and you're offline to them, it would work wonders...
Especially if they don't know...
Are you suggesting that you can catch them unaware yourself and bother them? Or something like the sort. How about, if you block someone, you can't write comments to them either. Just so people can't abuse it by blocking someone and then flaming them. And you can only change the block every 24 hours, for extra measures.
I suggested one a long time ago.
Like the picture, but it isn't very useful here you know.
Unlike my case where my comments are usually closed anyways.
I once wanted to contact you but that's why it couldn't work! I think your reason makes sense if you're scared of every newbie saying hello to you. Would make me lose comments too.
Another suggestion is if you could have a function where only your friends are allowed to write on your comments. Just that you wouldn't be able to make new friends easily...
Well it wouldn't be worth opening it and then blocking half of everyone on AG :P
Your being modest: He'd have to ban 199,000 of the 200,000 users here to stop them spamming his profile, and his ban list would take up 5 GB of the Armorgames server space and make her very slow.
Blocks on most social websites are usually anonymous, so that it just appears that you're being ignored. There are cases where a system specifically notifies you that you've been blocked when you try to message somebody, which, in this case, I think would work better...I'm not sure the "comments appear closed" idea would fly though ultimately that seems to be the *easiest* system.
The problem then is the matter of ALTs. Anyway, since this has been suggested before I'll lock the thread so you should refer to the other one.
