Skate. Glitch List ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ---Table of Contents---
1. Height 2. Land Everything 3. Double Points 4. No-Hand Grabs 5. Moonwalk 6. Revert Height 7. Good to Know (spots) 8. Credits ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` 1. Height Used for: Getting to high spots you normally couldn't reach.
Go to any spot and set a session marker down. Now jump up and bail somehow. I like to use Stiffy or Christ air/No-Foot Air. Press X to hurry up the bail camera and jump up and die again. During this only jump and die nothing else.
If you go to a recently other set session marker or some random place it's because the game automatically sets down session markers so if you die you don't go halfway across the map towards your last placed one.
Things that reset your height: Person joining (online) Running off (game usually auto-sets another session marker) Viewing replay editor for some time Going to your session marker
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` 2. Land Everything Used for: If you jump off of something really high, or do a really complicated flip, you land it.
Hold a grab button like L2 and right before you hit the ground hit R2. This must be done in an Fs/Bs grab or it won't work. You can switch it up like R2 and L2 instead. You can do a trick like Christ Air FrontFlip 720 but when you land it be sure to let go of everything except L2 and hit R2.
You may not land things if your head is upsidown because it requires some part of the board touching the ground.
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` 3. Double Points Used for: Getting higher points than normal off of ramps.
Before you go off a ramp like X Games do a 180 Nose Manual and Nose Manual off of it. It must be a 180 because it only works in fakie/switch and it must be a Nose Manual because of the manual's stability.
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` 4. No-Hand Grabs Used for: Looking awesome
Before going off a ramp press L2/R2 and hit an emotion (Up D-Pad) and as you are going off press R2/L2 again with some sort of grab. Christ Air/No-Foot Airs are the most noticable. It is rather hard for me to keep my finger on the up d-pad throughout this sequence so i do: L2/R2 ~ D-pad up ~ D-pad up ~ L2/R2 ~ D-pad up & Circle/Right Analog stick direction
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` 5. Moonwalk Used for: Looking awesome Go down a steep hill and do Manual ~ Clockwise Revert ~ X/Square I cannot stress how much that you need to do clockwise revert when your not switch or it won't work! If your in switch simply do a Counter-Clockwise Revert
BE SURE YOUR GOING FAST ENOUGH or your character will just start running in the opposite direction
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` 6. Revert Height Used for: Getting in areas with a diagonal height (IMO Hardest one) Difficulty depends on your preferred manual type (Nose-Manual tricks vs Manual tricks) I was a Nose-Manual guy so it was harder for me. All it is, is: Manual/Nose Manual ~ Fliptrick
Most Height (Manuals)
The higher it is the more difficult it is to pull off
By switch manual I mean do a revert so you get in Switch then do the revert glitch with a manual
Most Height (Tricks in order of highest to smallest)
With No Switch:
Hardflip/Inward Heelflip 360 Hardflip/360 Inward Heelflip 360 Flip/Lazer Flip (known to be the most prone to failing) All Rest Kickflip/Heelflip
With Switch: 360 Hardflip/360 Inward Heelflip Hardflip/Inward Heelflip All Rest Kickflip/Heelflip Three ways to FAIL:
Spazzing Character/Flipped off at extreme speeds - Did the trick too early in revert
No trick after revert: Do the trick harder or hold down the manual harder
No height just trick: Did the trick too late in the revert
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` 7. Good to Know
******************IMPORTANT******************
DO NOT DO ANY TRICKS WHATSOEVER WHEN YOU ARE POPPING THROUGH A FLOOR BECAUSE IT WILL CAUSE YOUR CHARACTER TO FLY OFF AND CHANGE YOUR SESSION MARKER WHICH RESETS YOUR HEIGHT
PUT A SESSION MARKER DOWN AS SOON AS YOU GET UP OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GO BACK IF YOU JUMP OFF
ALWAYS USE THE LAND EVERYTHING GLITCH IF YOUR JUMPING INTO SOMETHING WITH THE REVERT HEIGHT GLITCH
---Spots--- Most of these are gained by the height glitch if otherwise it will be specified
Unfinished Highway: Near DIY Park, go up on the bridge. When facing the DIY park from it go to your right, it should be the first building with an alley and columns. Go inbetween the columns and do the height glitch. When your up on the ledge ollie over onto the grass and do the height glitch in the shadows of the highway. Another way: straight from thestreet but, it is longer that way.
Invisible Floor(2):
**Invisible Floors have weird edges**
Elementary School Go straight ahead from online freeskate until you reach those 3 small horizontally long buildings. Get on one of those ramps with a rail going around it. On the flat part do the height glitch. Another way: Revert Height into one of the horizontal ones and do the Height Glitch. Art Gallery Go into it and directly go to your left. Then when you pass into the higher ceilinged area do the height glitch. You will hit a fake floor halfway to the top, ignore it. At the top you can go inside the circular building but set a session marker down outside of it because once your in you can't get out.
Theatre: Go to the Walrus Spot in the Matrix place and go straight ahead till you get underneath the first ledge. Get on top of it with the height glitch. Now go as far as you can to the wall, I prefer the left side because it's more interesting. You might notice the two black ledges as you go there, they are fake floors don't expect to get on them. I like to use the black ledges as measuring devices..the third one up is an actual thick ledge that is tan colored.
Tan Building: Go to the Walrus Spot in the Matrix place and go straight ahead till you get to the street and turn left up the hill until you see a tannish ledge you can ollie up to it Ollie up to it and get underneath one of the building's ledges and do the height glitch.
Outside the City: Get up on the Elementary School Invisible Floor and go towards the bridge. Jump on it and go towards your left. You will soon run out of bridge and it will lead off into the outside. On the outside it is particularlly hard to get around because it is all tough grass. You will get really cool photos by looking at the city from a distance though. This will only work with the first bridge, the second one farther ahead is unfinished.
DIY Building (REALLY HARD): Get up on the bridge near the DIY park, facing it, go to your left. At the end of the sidewalk turn around and get on top of the tan square by ollieing off the tiny grey ramp at your left. When on top of that 180 ollie onto the concrete part. Try to get as far away from the fence as possible. Then push off and ollie over the fence and do the Land Everything Glitch at the bottom. Go on the ramped area and try to set a session marker as close as you can to the building your being rammed into. Do the Height glitch there until you get to the top. You may have to get higher than the top because your board will be only half-hitting it. Do the Land Everything glitch there and try to get all of your board on the building.
By go into the ramped area I mean so that your body is being pushed into the building. Not the one on your right that goes down into nothing.
Inside Elementary School Buildings: Get up on the Elementary School Invisible Floor and jump off it into one of them.
String of Suburban Houses (REALLY HARD): Go to PJ Ladd's Mansion and go to the street, when facing leaving the mansion turn left and follow the wall down till it ends. Get on the grass on the right side of the gate. Get about 3 pushes away from the hedges and set a session marker while in switch. Now run up and do the Switch Manual Revert 360 Hardflip glitch over the hedges. It is hard because you have to be right next to the bushes to get over it. Be sure to always use the Land Everything glitch just incase you might bail. At the end of the string if you jump down there is this weird statue there..it was interesting because only you could go into one side of it, for most of them they're actually only the top floors of the houses, and trees are growing out of the roofs.
Get Outside the DIY Park in Online Freeskate: Go to the farthest right ramped exit. Go down it using Circle so your going as slow as possible. Get to the farthest right as you can and be parallel to the wall. Inch your way across by using only the left analog stick. As soon as your board peeks out turn right and push away. Set a session marker down after the fuzz just incase.
Dunking the Board: At the Elementary School (or outside the Community Center near the Halfpipes)..at a Basketball Court get in switch, and move to whatever side your person faces when you do the Revert Height glitch. Counter-Clockwise go to the right of the basket and Clockwise go to the left of the basket. When you go up because of the glitch do a Christ/No-Foot Air and turn to whatever side your board needs to be facing to get in the basket.
Have fun with the height glitch, find new spots on your own by trying underneath ledges of random buildings. If your person goes in a direction during the height glitch then find a wall, do a no-foot air if the wall is to your right and a stiffy if the wall is to your left. If your person just resets his height after a few attempts then you cannot use the height glitch there.
I'm sorry for the two glitches I don't know, the DarkSlide and Casper glitches that involve rails, some of my friends know them...as soon as I figure it out i will update this with how to do it.
