Ok... I am lagging A LOT!!!It takes me like 5 whole minutes or so just to get on the site. Can someone tell me why this is happening, or how to fix it?
Let your modem/wi-fi/DSL/other connector cool off for about 5 minutes. Every machine runs better and more efficiently when its cool. If you're using wireless, like me, and you let it cool off, then you will start off running at about 50kbps, the average that loads AG in seconds. I would try it.
wow....fox fire that made me laugh(FireFox backwards eh?) anyways AG is known to lag.It has nothing to do with you.I have a high speed cable internet connection that runs about as smoothly as possible,and Pentium core duo processor with about(I think) 4GB of RAM.No other site lags at all in comparison to AG,as its most likely a problem with the AG server lagging.This is typically temporary,and the people at the AG office are currently working 0on optimizing the site to fix this,but of course in the mean time we will have to deal with the site getting glitchy,and things disappearing,as well as the site still lagging,until the optimization is done and over with.
And for you luxurious gamers that are addicted to MMORPG's and forums at the same time, then Comcast is the thing for you! Note: luxurious, average at around 80kbps. Occasionally hits 100, which is .1Megs a second. This would load a 2 meg game in 20 seconds, if constant. CURSE YOU COMCAST!
Now that my rambling is over, Xoran, you should try my idea. Go and get a pop or something while that baby cools off.
to speed up a little go to control panel internet settings and delete all your cookies and temporary stored internet files
And then face the problem of remembering your password again.
