Hi All,
Just posting to say that thankfully, the 15 day heatwave with temperatures over 35 degrees Celcius (95 F) in South Australia has finally finished.
It was HOT!

There was a heatwave? Well you live in S. Australia so I wouldn't know. Also, that's just crazy, what did you guys do to cool down because can't you pass out from that kind of heat?

Maybe that means it will warm up here. I'm rather tired of winter.

I can relate. I've been thru some horrible heatwaves in south Texas. We had a drought for over 130 days.

Ahh yes, the summer after my freshman year in college, we had 11 straight days of triple digit weather. Broke all kinds of records. It was miserable! Especially since my job required some outside work (I was a campus mail delivery person!). However, I have to say I preferred that, because at least my delivery van had AC... because the warehouse we were based in did not have air conditioning... so it would get past 100F inside, and no way to ventilate.

Wow Carlie, that's crazy. I never heard of something like that. I don't think that I ever felt the wheather be above 100 degrees and I really doubt that I would want to.
