I have just found out that Chaos Faction 2 is near completion and DP is planning to release it around Easter. That's only a month or two from now! Hurray! (It's been like a year or two since Chaos Faction was released. It sure took a long time to make the sequel.)
well i thought i would add that this game was easy to complete. as you said 34 months to make and about 2 hours of gameplay.People are already wanting CF3. And how long will that take? I mean the amount of time to create this game they should of at least put in a good multilpayer mode.But Yea good game.
Ahah, I'm too noob to have played CF1 before CF2 came out. I like CF2. Very fun, but I only play for the deathmatches. Campaigns I just breeze through.
After reading some posts in the DP forums, I can say that multiplayer wasn't put in because of the cost and time. Seeing as the game was sidetracked by a few years, and also seeing that getting the money needed for a few servers would be extremely difficult for a few independent developers who've recently come out of college, multiplayer would take too long to wait for. If CF3 is made, I assume MP will be considered and possibly implemented, thought that'll be years.
If there's news about a sequel, I'll be here to tell. I made this thread last year and it took that long for the game to come out. Will be a long wait.
