Does anyone here like the band Phish? They are my favorite band. They do a lot of jamming. They are known best for their really long jams and dedicated fans and also the glowstick wars.
If you have never heard them, here are a couple of their songs
Phish composes their stuff so complex and their improv jams are just so awesome and technically difficult. I'd love to see how the stuff you listen to compares to phish. I bet the bands you listen to couldn't even jam.

haha, everyone seems to like the glowsticks =P, they really do look awesome. Phish also has some pretty crazy light shows such as this.

I think people tend not to like them as much because they have a really weird style that most other bands don't, I guess I'm just a weird guy =P
Not necessarily. Their style is a bit odd, which turns me away a bit. They do have good technical skill though. -------- On the topic of if our favorite bands can "jam" or not, I like bands like the Beatles, Santana, ink Floyd, the Who, Hendrix, Clapton, Knopfler, etc. so the technical skill and creativity of my faves is not in question :P

Haha definetly not in question. I love all those bands, except I've never really heard of Knopfler, I'll have to check them out. I love the smooth sounds of Santana. I really like Led Zeppelin too, seems we are both into a lot of the same stuff.
