Why can't there be a button that lets you bump a topic without replying? If you just say ''bump''thats spam! I think that a bump button would be good. What do you think?
No. I have never felt the need to bump a topic. If I didn;t want it to disapear down the pages I would make a comment on it. A constructive one that encouraged other people to post as well. End it with a queation of your own for example.
Plus I could see people some bumping random topics and that would just screw the forum up.
There is usually a reason why a thread become inactive. Mainly because there is nothing to be said. If you have nothing to say than bump, or you just bump it in general, you yourself have nothing to add, and will just not let a dying thread be.
