I have really gotten into this game. I have every award minus two, though one of these comes from having them all, so really I only need to complete one, but I am beginning to think it is impossible.
Is there anyone who can give me a hint or tip on dying within 10 seconds?
This is a really fun game! My personal trick is to hoarde around an area, preferebly near the middle and go down (hopefully not though) in the style of Gen. Custer! Then hope for triple shot or area wipeout, lol!
The real problem is the period of invulnerability after you taker a hit. Useful when you are going for a high score, because it makes diving thru a mass of foes to get to a good power-up.
On the downside, you get no points for the cool yellow Arena Clear power-up.
I think when I cracked 7,500 I got the ability to heal up, which is also useful, though it takes awhile.
Dying within ten second may (may, mind you) be actually impossible.
I just remembered how I did it. It seems that the only way to get it is to pause and quit right after starting the game since quitting technically counts as a death.
