so, for you is the glass half empty or half full?
I think I must be pretty pessimistic; in situations I only assume the worst so that either what I expected happens, or I get lucky and its something good.
In away, I am optimistic by being pessimistic. haha.

I am usually pessimistic about things. I believe though, that people must be optimistic about life so I am working on that.

knight_34 I bet you know what I will say.

I agree with jezz. I am an optimistic pessimist. I predict the worst in every situation so only good things can possibly happen.

England play Ukraine in a qualifier next week. I predict an England loos so that either I'm right, so I'm happy, or England win and I'm happy.

Im a pessi-optimist. Cause I always predict the worse, so that if I get anything good, I'll be happier and if I don;t succeed, I will more cushioned.

i agree with everyone so far. I dont see how someone can be constantly optimistic. It'd drive me insane! You cant be happy about everything all the time.

Me too. Usually they are not happy all the time, they are just hopeful or they are good at remaining calm and hopeful.

Pessimistic pessimist. Because if something goes well, there must be something wrong.

I'm a pessimist. That way, I'm either always right or pleasantly surprised!

But seriously, looking at what can go wrong is great for making plans, but once you actually set a plan into motion, optimism is helpful while pessimism is not. Try to be optimistic!

I consider myself an optimistic person. It's not that I don't feel down a lot, which I do. It's just that I know that whatever is happening won't last forever and that I just need to get through it.

Are you saying I can't exist? :P I've been constantly optimistic about things for at least 6 years running, and the cycle only got broken by me breaking some bones, and me getting mad/sad about not being able to do anything.

I'm not saying I don't get mad, but the times I get mad aren't to me considered pessimistic. They're anger moments when people are stubborn. :P

well im bipolar but that only means that my emotions are FuCkEd up. but even because of that i manage to stay as optimistic as i possibly can..because most good things happen to optimistic people so im kind of jealous of that and now im just trying to get some of the good things to come to me...
