Well I want to know is what do you people want to do when it's time for you to choose a job or something you already do?
I at first wanted to be a cop, but now I don't know but mabey serve in the military.... I doubt that I will...
Well I would want to be an actor, author, or vocalist(sounds a lot better than singer). Whichever I find out I'm better at. I'll probably go into the military a few years before college, but not as a career. I'm pretty good at all of that though, so shouldn't be really hard. Unless they're like an explosion of popularity though, all of those jobs are kind of touch and go, so I'll probably need another job. Maybe an computer engineer?
I'll outline it for you.
Author: Key word is self funding. I don't want a publisher, because they'll take all the money. If it's successful, I want mah money! But I guess I'd take genres like drama, mystery, thriller, horror, science fiction. No nonfiction for me, and definitely no romance. Maybe an underline of romance. I mean, that's what's popular. But I will not lose all vestiges of self-respect and write a novel that I wouldn't even read.
Actor: Again, I would want to write my own script and whatnot. And in a perfect world, I'd be acting with people I could stand. But then again, it's not. So whatever. But if I write my own script and submit it to a movie company I'd probably be good to go. But I don't really have any contacts, so...but whatever. I'll try. I could probably act in any movie, and yet again, I won't act in a movie I wouldn't want to watch.
Vocalist: I'd also write my own songs. Probably punk/metal/hard rock something along those lines. And I would do stuff like the piano. Yea I play that. And I would have to like, drink honey or something. My throat gets sore really easy. But this job is really touch and go, especially since the popular crap is pop and hip hop and stuff like that. But I won't sing something I wouldn't listen to. Anyways, if I can get a recording deal and decent musicians in the band I could do it.
LiL_GaNgSta_BlAzE, how old are you? Just curious, because most people on this site are too young to even worry about it yet. I always thought about this when I was younger. But the fact it, it really isn't something you need to worry about. I would focus more on being young and not worrying about future work!
Personally, I didn't decide what I wanted to do until after my first year in college. My first year I was an Undeclared major in Fine Art. Then one day in my spring quarter, it just hit me all of a sudden what I wanted to do with my life. With most people it is not so sudden. But also, most people who go into college with an idea of what they want to do, end up changing their minds. I think the average amount of major changes per college student is over 2. I am considered on the low end of that, only having switched from Undeclared to Biological Sciences.
I still have friends who are in their third and fourth years of college that don't know what they want to do with their lives. They just know that they are interested in what their major has to offer, so they are going with it. But if they, less than one year from graduation and the real world, are not worried about it, then you shouldn't be either!
lol just a bit addition, AS is also inside Flash.
Money is important, but it's not no.1 for me.
i wanted to be Mechanic engineer but now i see that i will follow the real estate section!!!
be a fireman
i would be a cop or a fireman
I'm going to go into the military sector. I'm going to figure out how to apply for West Point shortly. Another year or so. I have to finish up school first. Hopefully they'll accept me and my not so favorable school record -.-
When you're at West Point you automatically get a degree in engineering, and I believe you can get one or two other things while you're there.
I'm going to try and minor in criminal justice, and go into the military. You have to serve minimum 5 years, and you get free tuition :P
You also get to be an officer. So that's awesome too. Most people who go there are going for the career military though, not just a state funded education. It was ranked in the top five public colleges in the country, so that's a plus. It's really hard to get in, though.
After a full service in the military (20 years or so) I'll try to go into forensics. Or maybe arms manufacturing. I won't know 'til I get there.
KFC = GenDeQi
Hrm......mechanic. Or a Graphic designer. Yup...
BTW, why necro this? Just make a new one.

I was for the longest time thinking of being an Archologist, but now that iv finally realized how smart I am (I have taken the ACT test (the one you take to pass high school) and scored an above average grade, during 8th grade O_o) so now im thinking stuff like, scientist, enginier, psycologist, detective (private or otherwise), and (because I LOVE games) game designer.
Sane, that's odd. . . .
Sort of disturbing actually. I'm guessing you're a 15 year old adolescent male, who's lonely?
Just a guess.
