LiL_GaNgSta_BlAzE, how old are you? Just curious, because most people on this site are too young to even worry about it yet. I always thought about this when I was younger. But the fact it, it really isn't something you need to worry about. I would focus more on being young and not worrying about future work!

Personally, I didn't decide what I wanted to do until after my first year in college. My first year I was an Undeclared major in Fine Art. Then one day in my spring quarter, it just hit me all of a sudden what I wanted to do with my life. With most people it is not so sudden. But also, most people who go into college with an idea of what they want to do, end up changing their minds. I think the average amount of major changes per college student is over 2. I am considered on the low end of that, only having switched from Undeclared to Biological Sciences.

I still have friends who are in their third and fourth years of college that don't know what they want to do with their lives. They just know that they are interested in what their major has to offer, so they are going with it. But if they, less than one year from graduation and the real world, are not worried about it, then you shouldn't be either!

I finished my computer degree in 2006, I can do some C#, AS, Photoshop, Coreldraw and VB, too bad I don't learn Flash, but I know a little bit. But computer is not really my dream, my dream is to travel the world and learn languages.

I'm from Indonesia, I want to go to Tibet and Siberia, and yes Falkland Island. But I'm in China now, learning Chinese and Japanese, it's my second year now, next year I will take my Master here, perhaps in ShangHai.

About job (lol, i thought JOB is something else coz it's in capitalize word).

I also don't decide it yet, but now I'm 25 years old, I want to become a translator, interpreter and yes travel to other countries and 5 continents. I miss my family a lot but I found new friend here on AG.

A translator fee is around 2-10 dollars/page, 10 dollars/page is for Dutch language, English and Chinese is about 2-4 dollars/page. Interpreter? It depends on many situations lol, 2-5 bucks/hour, sometimes it's free.

I write a book now, but it still 100 pages, my target is 2000 pages. I want to become an archeologist that learning in old language, I'm not a Math guy.

About money, don't mind it too much, it depends on your reputation and your quality, and it depends on many factors too, where you work, with who, and your luck lol.

lol just a bit addition, AS is also inside Flash.

Money is important, but it's not no.1 for me.

be a fireman

i would be a cop or a fireman

Can you explain why?

I was become a translator for 2 years and more. Sometimes I can get 1000 dollars/week, sometimes there is no job at all for 3 weeks. Translating is easier than teaching (I think), and it pays more, to get a 1000 dollars/month in teaching English you need VERY HIGH QUALIFICATION, which mean, your English is superb and you can speak some Romansh (I don't know if I spell it right or no, and I might be wrong with this), language, such as French, German and Spanish.

I'm teaching English now here, Chinese is sux, they changed everything. Examples:

Mc'Donald's = MaiDangLao
KFC = GenDeQi
Michael = MaiKe
Marry = MaLi

Mozart = Mozate

David = DaWei

Harry Potter = Hali Buote

and many more, I told them not to learn English like that, you can't change their name. It's wrong.

If you come to China and see the name of a bar, a shop or hotel, you can read the English language, but you will ROFL instantly.

Example:

ChuKou, it means EXIT, but the translation is EXPORT, so you will be EXPORTed to other country?

SAMSUNG = SanXing

APPLE = PingGuo (which means an Apple in Chinese_

I know Chinese block US sites, youtube, facebook, metacafe and even blogger, I think they use a firewall, no, they use a GREATWALL lol.

Chinese also hardly spell 'girl' they can't spell 'r' part, they spell it 'gel' or 'ge'. Water they spell 'wate', when you talk to them, you hardly understand their English, it's like Chi-Lish, they 'invent' their own English.

I'm going to go into the military sector. I'm going to figure out how to apply for West Point shortly. Another year or so. I have to finish up school first. Hopefully they'll accept me and my not so favorable school record -.-

When you're at West Point you automatically get a degree in engineering, and I believe you can get one or two other things while you're there.

I'm going to try and minor in criminal justice, and go into the military. You have to serve minimum 5 years, and you get free tuition :P

You also get to be an officer. So that's awesome too. Most people who go there are going for the career military though, not just a state funded education. It was ranked in the top five public colleges in the country, so that's a plus. It's really hard to get in, though.

After a full service in the military (20 years or so) I'll try to go into forensics. Or maybe arms manufacturing. I won't know 'til I get there.

KFC = GenDeQi

sorry, it should be

KFC = GenDeJi

I don't see many 'worker' or 'entrepreneur' user here, maybe becoz it is a game site, I love AG!

Perhaps they just 'hide' their identity, and too lazy to write something, perhaps they just don't want to be 'revealed'

The book I write is in Indonesian, perhaps my second book will be in English and the third book in Chinese. I want to learn French too, but I'll learn it later after I obtain my Master, China don't teach French so good I think, but I don't know yet, I have to check BeiJing and ShangHai. I hope I found one.

I was for the longest time thinking of being an Archologist, but now that iv finally realized how smart I am (I have taken the ACT test (the one you take to pass high school) and scored an above average grade, during 8th grade O_o) so now im thinking stuff like, scientist, enginier, psycologist, detective (private or otherwise), and (because I LOVE games) game designer.

Sane, that's odd. . . .

Sort of disturbing actually. I'm guessing you're a 15 year old adolescent male, who's lonely?

Just a guess.
