how can you even compare these two shouldn't it be ps1 against an n64 but whatever gamecube wins

GC had better graphics and games. for ninja31, gamecube had newer final fantasy games which were the best in my opinion

Also, it should be GC vs. PS2 or N64 vs. PS1. You can't really compare different generations...

ps1 is older than gc so gc is better but ps2 owns gc

I have got to say i still liked the ps1 more the games were far better even if the graphics were not as good, i mean hell i still play ps1 games now nd i have a ps3 lol. ps1 had games like mgs u cant compete with stuff like that

This isn't fair... The Nintendo64 came out when the ps1 did. Then GameCube came out when the ps2 did. So it should be gamecube vs. the ps2....

It should be ps2 VS GC....
But even though im a die hard ps1 ps2 and ps3 fan i'll have to go with GC , becase it iis much , much newer.

GC,personally i like super mario sunshine better than the normal ps1 games

Gamecube, my first game console, I got it when I was 5 or 6. Good times, good times...anyways Gamecube duh! How can you beat those minuature discs I mean they are fricken amazing

ok, we've already determined that it should be ps1 vs N64, so lets fous on the q lol. I have to say that both consoles were fun, ps1 had more classic games that just cant be beat like spyro xD and the older FF. I like some of the racing games on GC, but i honestly got tired of shooting small furry animals with colorful guns and cute little vehicles, and when u need a good old fashion game, ps1 definatley wins. I had way more fun with ps1, idc about grphics, the games were just more fun.
