yeah Newgrounds isn't for gaming it's more for watching toons and stuff. Miniclip isn't that great. It barely launches new games and once they do it's not really a game it's more of a mini game this one just came out click the link below to play it: http://www.miniclip.com/games/spider-game/en/ And I am a total fan of Nitrome because there games are just so retro and stuff. But they can get annoying. And it's once in a blue moon they release new games. I think this site is the best but sometimes it can get a little boring
There are pros and cons. For me it's a feud between ArmorGames and Kongregate. So I'll see what I can find for each.
ArmorGames: Better community, more active forums. No IM chat system. Has good Armatars, but you are not allowed to use your own. Nice rank system, also with a global rank system. Mostly professional games too.
Kongregate: IM chat system. Point system is dependent upon beating challenges in certain games, so the point system revolves much more around the games. The site doesn't encourage much more than simply playing the games. However, there are weekly and monthly contests for the best games submitted during those periods, with a cash prize for the winner(s).
Unlike ArmorGames, there are many junk games created by ordinary people, which have a very low rating. ArmorGames may have some low-rated games, but most of them are at least professional. This rather defeats the statement that Kongregate has a lot of games, since many of them range from okay to trash.
I guess it all depends on whether you like playing games, or you like playing games AND interacting with a great community. In the end it's really up to you, but those are all the objectives I can see. They're both good sites so it doesn't really matter.
Well in my oppinion yes that's why I'm posting right now. AG has a very nice point system an active community and a wide variety of games suited for all types of gamers.
