Well, my browser decided to be slow, and I clicked comment twice, which posted my comment twice on a game. I found out then that we have no ability to delete our own comments on games, which kind of sucks.

Then we have the one time vote. I mean, it isn't set in stone when game magazines like Game Informer make a rating, even some show a second rating reconsidering things. We have changes in taste ourselves and we might find that we're interesting in certain genres that we weren't before and might of played a game in this new interest and seen we voted a four or something when now we see it as a 8, 9, or 10.

Those would both be cool, although people would constantly change ratings causing the game's overall rating to be constantly moving. Not a big problem, but still a problem.

If we could re-rate games it would be 0ap though. And maybe only one change a day?

I know that it might take a little work to get both implemented, but still, it'd cut down on a mod's work. Also, if it's being suggested again and again, it'll be noticed.

Well i like the idea. Because once i thought the game was boring i played it for around 5 mins. Then after i played it for around 15mins and i got to levels that were so fun. And i wanted to change my vote on the game.

Burn that problem! I'm lucky I have only had it once.

Been suggested before

But this one has different purposes. It's about double posting and helping Armorgames keep herself clean.

Yes, because if a lot of people did it, the average rating would keep hanging when they edit it and they can't get it even(Because the original rating was based on your original rating, which when changed would change the average rating. Very confusing.)

Lemme give an example for ze simpletons.

Imagine if you find a game that has been rated only once (One in a million). It was rated 5, so the average rating is 5. So you too rate it 5. Now a third person comes and gives it a 10, so the rating becomes 6.6. You then change your rating to 6.6, but then the average rating turns to 7.2 an it keeps going. Get it?

if it's being suggested again and again, it'll be noticed.

No offense, but that doesn't mean they'll add it.

Don't rate a game if you barely played it. I think that's even in the rules.

I think they should allow you to change the rating, but they should make it so you don't get AP from changing it. They're probably afraid of people just changing it over and over again for more AP.

yeah, when your browser is slow you show be able to delete a comment and if you start to like or dislike a game you rated before you should be able rate it again but still keep the AP from the first rate

I like these ideas, and of course Orion732 you wouldn't get AP for changing it.

The only problem I can see about being able to remove comments is someone might remove all of one persons even if they aren't offensive. This probably wouldn't be a problem but you never know.

I would love for the ability to change game ratings to be implemented. I hardly ever need to change the rating I gave out to a game, but sometimes I realize that I didn't play the game enough and/or didn't give the game a change. It works both ways really(sometimes I don't like the game anymore and other times I like a game a lot more).

Yes, I wish you had the ability to delete or edit your own posts, as it would help cut-down on spam and you could add to a post instead of posting again. I've been to many forums where you could and it worked effectively. When I first came here, I was surprised you couldn't. I hope that they will add these features eventually...

Not annoy, unless you started swearing and saying bad things because they didn't add it.

Not the rules, common sense really.

I think they should allow you to change the rating, but they should make it so you don't get AP from changing it.

That has been suggested here already I think. But yes, we should do it like Kongregate.

I can see about being able to remove comments is someone might remove all of one persons even if they aren't offensive.

That sounds like you can delete other peoples comments. That is a NO. Only moderators can do it, because they have been trusted that they can do it. No one else. It's like giving Al Capone the President of America position. He would abuse it. Understood?

I've been to many forums where you could and it worked effectively.

Go to Yahoo Answers, and you will see just how they abuse it. They swear in fifteen sentences, two paragraphs and then they change it. That's why there a lot of flamers in Kongregate.

The ability to delete your own double posts would definitely come in handy, it would also save Moderators some time in deleting them.
