Are you the kind of person who takes things just as they come, not giving a care in the world until something happens?

Or are you the "Big Picture" kind of person and look at the whole scene before considering? Are you the bad kind of big picture person? Like "We have calculators, why the heck do we need math skills later on in life?!"

What do you think about this?

I really don't usually look at the whole future. I usually look at something and base my conclsion on how it will affect my future.

I'm a big picture person; I consider the future before acting in the present. Sadly, the world doesn't have enough of the big picture people. Most just take things as they come, not concerning themselves with the future. It is a cycle; if you look at the big picture, then you will act in a way that makes future decisions easier. Then, you will have more room to make even better decisions, and so on. If you take things as they come, then future decisions will be more difficult, and you will have less and less room to make good decisions. It is a cycle; one that is either brutal or fantastic. I am not the bad kind of big picture person; the type you described actually wouldn't be a big picture person because not having math skills and always relying on a calculator is close-minded and will endanger future decisions.

Some people are just born selfish.

I'm the paranoid kind if person who looks and thinks about every possible thing and event that could happen as a result of whatever until I worry myself into doing nothing. Over-analysis of the big picture perhaps.

I tend to enjoy putting together articulate, reserved pseudo-rants about small things. Lemme find some.

Here we are.
Grammar.
Fragments. . .when used for dramatic effect, they run the gamut from arbitrary to masterful. 'Tis but a different form of art; one misgiven and misunderstood. A form of art that many dismiss as arbitrary and transparent, as a construct rendered useless in the diluted, cultureless modern-day society. Grammar is misconceived by many; it can be sculpted to fit the beauty of something, not simply used ss some sort of mold that all must conform too. Grammar. . .is a construct of the half-real. *sips some tea*
English.
English. . .it is not a language. English is but a blank canvas, open to any number of mutilation. English. . .is the canvas. The words are the paint. Yet it is all rendered arbitrary; the various mutilations and distortions have overtaken the canvas, splatteted it with coffee and nacho cheese sauce. The word "English" is, or should be, entirely meaningless in conversation. *walks off*
Telling.
Telling. . .is but an arbitrary construct, invented to appease those who wish to know. I digress; we all must participate in this "telling," despite it being unnecessary and obstreperous. Telling. . .is but a transparent excuse for knowing what is not partial to revealing itself.
My deviantART forum sig.
What is a sig? It is but a transparent, pale representation of an over-arching, irrelevant afterthought, void of importance. It holds no value whatsoever; it is but empty text that appears to be full. Shun such arbitrary things that distort reality.
---------------
I always look at the big picture; because if you look at the big picture about the big picture, then the big picture is shown to be the best thing to look at, and the most outro- and introspective perspective. Reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song "Within You Without You."

Try looking at the bigger picture. It may depict what you wish to "get."

I look at the big picture but sometimes I get sick of that. I'm sure most people have heard knowledge is power and that's absolutely true. Personally I believe people with power have a responsiblity to help those without. Therefor a lot of responsibility comes with knowledge and I don't like being bogged down with said responsibilty. So yeah, I acknowledge the whole picture at times, but it makes doing things for yourself really difficult. I tend to help other people at my own expense because of how much of the picture that I can see they can't. Ignorance is bliss I suppose, saves you from a lot of trouble anyways.
