We should be able to search by the author because when you like a game you might want to get to the authers game more quickly after having had closed your brower. I was once playing a game and I accidently click on an add. My computer just couldn't handly the loading time. WIE stopped responding and it was scrolled in a place where I could not see the name of the game, but I could see the author's name. So I search the author's name next chance I get and I don't get any results

Well, I don't know what I can say about that. There are big gaming sites that have a good few
of their games on AG. It would be nice to have a list of every single user that submitted their
works on AG so you can click their profile and look at their list of games. With a little over
a thousand games on the site, there might be a lot of developers, but the big gaming sites control
a big chunk of that number.

As for future reference, Tomptop, it may be time for you to get some flash block or something, to
take care of those annoying ads above the game you're playing.

Follow this link if you have firefox as your browser. Once you have the link up, click on the left green box. It will ask you to download it, so click yes. This will take a couple minutes, depending on your connection. Afterwards, once the download is complete, you will be free of those flash ads that crowd your game screen.

They will appear as white, with a play arrow in the middle. If you do wish to look at it, you would have to click on it. If it's in your way, you can right-click on it and select "remove this flash". That way, it will be deleted on that page, and you won't have to do put up with it until you go to another page.

why not Ad Blocks Plus, it works better if you subscribe to the right one after you get it,and it doesn't block flash games. Anyways tomptop I have a URL trick that can fix this. If you know the exact name of the Author then you can use this trick to find the author and on their profile they have a list of all games submitted by them.

http://armorgames.com/user/InsertUsernameHere

where you see the InsertUsernameHere replace it with the exact username of the Author of the game. I hope this helps, but as a note I do believe this has been suggested before and if I remember correctly people have flamed before about how it is not necessary.

That's because AdBlockPlus doesn't block flash ads above the game screen. Believe me, I have
tried it before.

Now that you mention it CrimsonBlade, I gotta add something to my first reply: Since AG games use
flash, it will be "SEMI-blocked" by FlashBlock, but the way to tell it from the other flash's is
by the fact that there will be a giant square over the whole screen with a play arrow in the middle.
That's the game you're trying to play, and all you have to do is click on it and
everything will run smoothly.

Well fine if it is going to come to this then fine. All I am going to say is that you most likely did not get a filter subscription when you got Ad Blocks Plus, or did not get a good one. I checked and I am subscribed to a filter called

EasyList + EasyElement (USA)

Now lets try to not argue about ad blocking add-ons too much more on this thread as it is not really what the thread is about from what I can tell, besides a solution for him having those ads slowing his computer down.
