Ooh, sometimes I think humans are consumers/enemies of nature, there is no built in way of giving back to nature what humans take... Your thoughts?

It really doesn't take that much time. Find a spot for you compost pile, get a black tarp and put your compost under it. Stir it occasionaly with a pitchfork (or other such implement). Don't put meat products there, but other food stuffs are fine. I would put the new compost on one side and gradually switch sides so you get some fully decomposed stuff, if you know what i mean. Then put it in your garden!

It's a natural thing for us to destroy nature. I know that sounds bad nut it's the truth. Whenever anything becomes bountiful there is always some reaction that comes along to thin it out. Earthquakes and hurricanes are a couple of examples. When stresses build up in the earth of atmosphere we get a natural reaction to restore some semblance of balance.

If you look at humans it's the same way, war is another example. Whenever nations build up enough stress or gather an excess of resources with no outlet for them war is the only solution to drop them all off with no really useful results. War is just a natural reaction to use up resources. If you think about it in this way, humans are a means to use up the large abundance of natural resources.

Of course this doesn't make it right to take from the environment without giving back, not if we want our race to be around for much longer. But it just seems a little ignorant to think we are the only creatures outside the natural order of things and we alone can destroy the planet. Rather it'd be more reasonable to think we are the result of some situation that required a solution.

Sorry for the long post post, hope it was interesting.
