well is that actually why it went? If it is that is just dumb (the people voting for themselves not it being removed) they must know there not gonna get a merit. Such a shame.
#1: Voting-up didn't do anything. Voting up was for good comments to make them look bigger, but it was pretty obvious which comments are big enough to deserve merits and which aren't. #2: If you look at your own profile comments the check box covers the flag button, it used to cover the up-vote button.
I loved that button and I think the mods (No affections to you lot but)...I think they should have changed it so you can't vote yours but be able to vote other[Suggition]
I actually thought that it got restricted for me automatically because I voted up several comments in succession. I was ready to complain about it. Now I'm relieved to hear that it's not just my problem.

No. They don't go into the behind the scenes stuff. You'd actually have to ask Carlie if she knows anything about it.
And sometimes, even Carlie doesn't know, and has to ask those IT dudes like IRoot.
