It is by making a good comment on a game or a good review. Almost perfect grammar and spelling. Read the help page for more info. Also, you get 25 AP. The thing that gives you the most AP. It also looks good on your profile to have lots of Merits.

That was something you don't tell. Some though(Like me) don't are about merits an are more interested in the forum, where you don't get merits.
Well the actually purpose for Merits is to see if you actually play the games or to know that you don't spam. Hopefully, but it is pretty hard getting merits, need proper spelling and an bunch of Big words to say. But I remembered, it only took me about 20 minutes or so. But it is nice to see a lot, doesn't mean you're smarter, just means you're less lazy
