Pick up a book. Use sources. An internet message board is probably the worst place to get information for a research paper.

I believe that if you were assigned to write a research paper on World War I you should probably find the information yourself. Don't use Wikipedia whatever you do though, anyone can edit it and most teachers do not allow it.

WWI is a very broad topic it might not be the greatest subject to write a paper on you might wanna choose something specific about WWI

World War I, pretty much living in a crowded morge urinal and waking up hoping that you would be able to breath the air that day and not have to advance in mass towards a machine gun. It should be easy to find information on the internet for it, it's a very important event in history. I'm actually surprised there aren't more movies about it or things like that.

oh yeah if you really wanna learn about WWI you should read a book called The Price of Glory: Verdun 1916 by Alistair Horne its a non-fiction book providing actual accounts from both sides of the events during the Battle of Verdun it actually provides pretty graphic accounts of the battle

Go to a library, quite a few POW books exist on WW1. Some people are still alive from WW1 (Mind you there's not a lot). I learned a lot from the "Horrible History" series, they include a history and interesting facts about WW1. But all of these are nothing compared to the powers of the internet, as shown by the other posts.

Are you seriously telling me that you thought of asking the AG forums where to find WWI info before you just typed World War I into.... lets say google's search.....

don't use wikipedia (althought most of the info on it is accurate, despite common belief)

Books have all the information gathered together. I have a book about WWI that says the cause, what appened, and the effect. Go to a Library

World War I began on July 28, 1914, when Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia. This seemingly small conflict between two countries spread rapidly: soon, Germany, Russia, Great Britain, and France were all drawn into the war, largely because they were involved in treaties that obligated them to defend certain other nations. Western and eastern fronts quickly opened along the borders of Germany and Austria-Hungary.The war ended in the late fall of 1918, after the member countries of the Central Powers signed armistice agreements one by one. Germany was the last, signing its armistice on November 11, 1918. As a result of these agreements, Austria-Hungary was broken up into several smaller countries. Germany, under the Treaty of Versailles, was severely punished with hefty economic reparations, territorial losses, and strict limits on its rights to develop militarily.
