I don;t watch it much but my friend is obsessed with it and forces random snipets down my throat however the bits I have seen are very funny. I like their tribute to Monty Python but I don;t think it is in a specific episode. (I would find a video on Youtube and link it but the language is, unsurprisingly, atrocious)

Exactly! I have about 20 southpark episodes on my ps3. And then another 40 on CDs and stuff.
Honestly i hate it. The only good thing is the latest movie that came out.
I will admit that some of the episodes go a little too far to be entertaining. But the movie was pretty good. The new Jonas Brothers episode was hillarious.

That is probably the reason why alot of people don't like it. It also infers to certin inapproaite situations.
But most of the time its just sick. its not even funny.
Goes back to the infering thing. For instance, the episode with Indiana Jones (I wont descibe it on AG for fear of getting banned. I'll just say it contains scenes with guys that prefer the company of men to women) It just goes way to far.
I like the older episodes, but the last two seasons have only been occasionally funny, and much more pointless, while the ones from two or three seasons earlier and back actually had some sort of deep parody on society buried under all of the "you killed Kenny!"s and "goddammit Kyle"s.

But I have to admit, the Kenny stuff was funny. He is in the season that they are making now, so hopefully that will be reserected.
