Here where I live Easter comes in 7 days. But happy Easter to all those who celebrate it. Do you have any custom consecrating Easter? Like painting of eggs and similar.

Only if you count stuffing myself full of chocolate and watching what ever legendary kids movie the BBC put on TV (not that that matters this year they're putting an episode of dr. Who on)

Here everyone has full house of painted eggs. There is even a competition holding place in some village where the strongest egg is selected. Competitors are ...um... colliding eggs one on another. The one that stays alive is the winner. Some farmer always wins. He says he's feeding his chicken with special food to make eggshell more resistant to shocks. : )
