recently iv discovered tht i love metal music ( except screamo) could any1 suggest any good modern metal bands because im really into the 80s sort of metal nothing before 1990 here plz and to make it a bit clearer im not really into bands like sum41 ,slipknot,rise against
There are sites that say they are alternative metal and hard rock.
Alternative metal should drop the word "metal" from it's name because every band from that genre does not even sound metal. Seriously, listen to a band like Primus or Chevelle and tell me that it's metal. There's nothing metal about it. It's just alternative rock that's a little heavier than usual.
