Yes DC is more dangerous then AC. During "current war" Edison wanted to show that AC is more dangerous, because he supported the idea that DC should be used for electrification of the world, so he electrified an elephant with AC current. Poor animal suffered for a long time. AC is mainly use now because it's easier to transport over long distances. Still, electronics runs on DC so it needs to be converted before use. With AC/DC converters.
It obviously means Alternating Current/Direct Current. It also means bisexuality. It is also a hard rock band from Australia, The Young brothers actually got the name AC/DC from the back of their sister's sewing machine
