So I was looking at my rank and seeing how long I have till I go up in rank in the top 100. Well I found a bit of info...it seems that the ranks are not updating like they should.Don't quite follow what I mean? Look at this info real quick...

So someone with 8 AP less then myself is a rank above me you see. Why would it be doing this...well I looked at the top 100 list and it has me as 8,549 AP and him as 8,570 AP giving him the lead. Now this isn't some rant about how I am not the right rank, but I just wanted to point this out as it has been more then two hours since I noticed this,as I wanted to see if it would correct it self,since sometimes it takes time to update itself,but while I think this may also have something to do with the optimization, I still wanted to point it out. I don't know if this is an exclusive case or what,but...well you get the idea.
well you would think so, but so far it has yet to update. I shall wait till the end of the day, but this is taking quite a bit longer compared to usual. It typically updates almost instantly.
It soes normally take time but I have noticed it is getting longer to update. I was ranked 83 for ages even though I had more points than the people above. I am ranked 82 when I think I should be 78. I'm not hugely bothered but as you say it is another glitch.
